The research in the area of electronic design is concentrated on various aspects of electronic systems design and electronic design automation (EDA). Topics cover design, design methodologies and design automation of (micro-)electronic systems with a high placement and routing density requiring particular consideration of the electrical, thermal, and reliability constraints.
